Some of them have, some of the americans havent learned about it...well the younger kids. I do not belive that all americans have forrgoten about september 11, but some chose not to remember.
The people that learned about 9/11 have not forgotten about 9/11 but some are possibly trying to make the best of what happened and celebrate that they are still alove. Why mope around, they are still on this earth and might want to think about happy things and try to live a happy life. The people that know might try to forget so that they dont feel scared that what happened could happen again.
I think people have just moved on, not forgotten. nobody can blindly hate some image of a boogyman in a turban forever, people forgive. and it was really weird last saturday cause i didn't even notice that it was 9/11 till i heard it on the news, but we were like 6 back when the planes crashed, it didn't really hit me that hard unlike the adults. people are just moving on and rebuilding what sense of reality they had before the event, so that we can prevent something like that from ever happen again
I don't think we have forgotten about it. Most americans still remember it, its just not as "important" in their minds as the years go on. If somebody were to mention it im sure most people know.
Some people may have forgotten about it, people that did'nt live through it for example teens like us but the people who lived through it and the survivors of it they still remember and fear it.
