How is freedom intepreted differently today than in the 1700's?

  7. We have more rights. However, citizens at less likely to fight for them.

  8. One difference is that blacks have freedom and rights. Along with women who back then had just about no rights. Overall everyone has more freedom and rights.

  9. Women have more rights! We were treated like property more than people. Blacks also have more rights, our president is black shows just how much has changed.

  10. Mostly women and black citizens were treated unfairly in the 1770's and now they are treated better.

  11. We have a lot more freedom now than we had in the 1700s. Black citizens and women are now treated equally to all men and can vote. There are also no longer slaves as there were in the 1700s.

  12. We have more freedom & rights. People now can speak up more & not have as many consequences for it

  13. we have a lot more freedom and don't have to worry about being persecuted for different ideas or different views on different things

  14. all races and woman have the same rights and freedom as us and we all have freedom to speak our minds without being accused of treason or spying

  15. Now everybody has a more or less fair chance of speaking, we aren't limited to what religion to follow or what book to read by some guy in a shiny hat.
    and the abolishment of slavery, now everybody works together in a way to keep living the way we do, but we aren't really fighting for them, and the politicians certainly aren't it's our brothers and sisters that they're sending out there, while they fight behind their desks

  17. There is a lot more freedom now a days then there was back then. For example, women and black people have rights and can vote. Everyone is equal to eachother.

  18. We now have more rights. Everyone can vote. Everyone can work more jobs without discrimination.
